Abstract
At present in clinical practice, in the case of failure of conservative methods of treatment, the primary method of care for patients with isolated metastatic lung lesions is surgical. However, the results of surgical treatment are not always satisfactory and approximately in one third of patients after metastasectomy from the lungs recurrent metastatic lesion develops, which may be due to the presence of micrometastases in lung tissue at the time of surgery. In such cases it is necessary to carry out repeated surgical intervention that are accompanied by injuries and complicated postoperative course. In connection with this, the promising application is isolated perfusion of the lung by antitumor drugs in combination with metastasectomy.References
