Abstract

Bladder cancer is the most common malignant neoplasm of the urinary tract. Non-muscle invasive bladder cancer accounts for about 70 % of all new cases of this disease. In this form of the malignant process, distant metastasis without local progression is an extremely rare phenomenon. This article presents a clinical case of successful diagnosis of metastatic lesions of the seminal vesicle in non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. Following investigation, including a puncture biopsy of the seminal vesicle, the patient underwent a course of multi-agent chemotherapy and to date has shown no signs of recurrence of the oncological process.
