Abstract

Aims: evaluating the effectiveness of a personalized rehabilitation program in patients with operable prostate cancer, evaluating the event-free survival of patients in this category.

Materials and methods: A combined cohort controlled clinical study was conducted with the inclusion of 140 primary operable patients with prostate cancer (PC) who underwent laparoscopic radical prostatectomy. Patients were divided into two groups, in one of the groups, rehabilitation activities were carried out according to standard methods, in the other, rehabilitation programs included technologies selected on the basis of the scientometric analysis. A comprehensive analysis of effectiveness was carried out with the definition of indicators and determinants of efficiency, as well as factor analysis and comparative analysis of alternative strategies of choice.

Conclusions: Personalized rehabilitation of patients with prostate cancer, as a system for assessing the patient's anamnestic, anthropometric, clinical, functional, psychophysiological parameters, allows determining the determinants of the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs, predicting and managing their effectiveness.
