Leukoplakia of the oral mucosa: classification, histopathology, diagnosis and treatment

Abstract

Лейкоплакия слизистой оболочки полости рта (СОПР) - потенциально злокачественное заболевание, характеризующееся способностью трансформироваться в плоскоклеточный рак. Стандартным методом выявления лейкоплакии является клинический осмотр полости рта стоматологом. Помочь обнаружить невидимые при клиническом осмотре поражения и определить риск злокачественной трансформации, смогут дополнительные методы скрининга и дифференциальной диагностики рака и потенциально злокачественных заболеваний СОПР, которые критически рассмотрены в данном обзоре. В настоящее время ни один вид активного лечения лейкоплакии СОПР не гарантирует отсутствие рецидивов или озлокачествления. Поэтому выявление больных лейкоплакией с высоким риском трансформации и их дальнейшее наблюдение представляется рациональным методом профилактики рака СОПР.
