Abstract
An aim of this study is to analyze treatment results of 4 patients with metastatic lesions of medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) who underwent liver resection. Annually in Russian Federation 600 new cases of MTC are diagnosing (0.2 per 100,000 humans). According to literature, in half of them a distant metastasis will develop. Isolated liver lesions develop in up to 0,5%. Resection of MTC metastases perform in only a small number of patients. Thus, little is known about outcomes of such treatment.
