Abstract

Introduction. Sinonasal neuroendocrine carcinoma is a rare neoplasm with an incidence of 0.2–0.8 %, characterized by an aggressive clinical course. The co-occurrence of this malignancy with pregnancy has been reported only in isolated clinical cases to date.

Case Description. We present a case of stage IV (cT4aN3M0) neuroendocrine carcinoma of the ethmoid bone in a 26-year-old pregnant patient who achieved a complete objective response following EP chemotherapy.

Conclusion. The management of malignant neoplasms during pregnancy represents a significant challenge in contemporary oncology, particularly given the increasing incidence of cancer diagnoses during gestation, including rare morphological subtypes.
