Abstract

Introduction. Oral cancer (RPR), currently occupies a leading position in the structure of malignant neoplasms of the head and neck.

Observation. Two clinical cases of pregnancy-associated RPR are presented, and the aggressive course of the disease, which led to fatal outcomes in both cases, is demonstrated.

Conclusions. The presence of pregnancy significantly worsens the course and prognosis of RPR in patients. It was revealed that this oncopathology in pregnant women is accompanied by resistance to standard methods and treatment regimens. This group of patients needs to develop new methodological approaches in antitumor treatment based on an in-depth analysis of the molecular genetic characteristics of the tumor, hormonal background in general and its effect on the tumor process during pregnancy. Such a personalized approach will improve the results of treatment of young patients during pregnancy.
