Abstract

The article provides a contemporary analysis of literature concerning the occurrence and specific characteristics of the clinical course of oral cancer (OC) during pregnancy. Currently, OC holds a prominent position among head and neck malignant neoplasms. The article explores the connection between the development of OC during pregnancy and various factors that align with existing theories. The findings reveal that OC in pregnant women tends to have a more unfavorable course: it progresses rapidly despite treatment and exhibits a heightened propensity for metastasis.
